CAT Property Management

CAT Property Management aims to meet the needs of the Property Professional, who manages properties. There is no limit to the number of properties that can be managed using CAT PM on a local area network. Contacts, Properties and Units are much the same as for CAT Property Assistant. Each property under management has a Property Reference and may have its own basis for management, as defined in CAT PM Basis.

 

CAT Property Management

INVOICING The budgets record the quarterly rent and / or service charge invoices due, which feed into invoicing. CAT Invoicing includes automatic production of Invoices for Rent and Service Charge, Cover Letters, the recording of Payment received, Statements and Debtors reports. CAT Diary shows the invoices due in the current period. The invoicing system can also be used for your other invoices.

 

CHARGES - Actual charges are recorded and reconciled against amounts billed at the Property Year End. Balances are split among the units and carried forward to inclusion in the invoice for the next quarter. Ad-hoc or charges paid on an actual basis may be allocated by specific invoice or by period. When a purchase is recorded, you can generate an E-mail Order Confirmation to ensure that the supplier invoice is addressed to the Landlord. Payments are recorded and creditors tracked.

 

CLIENT ACOUNTS - Each property has separate accounts for Rent and Service Charge, with their own invoice number sequences. The accounts are updated when a purchase or invoice is marked as paid. Quarterly VAT reports are produced for the client, with the option to output the related VAT Inputs and Outputs in CSV data format, which can be e-mailed to the client for import into their system.  Accounts are viewed by year, with balances brought forward and carried forward. The year end is closed off, once the current balance has been agreed to the bank statement.

 

COST EFFECTIVE SYSTEMS - System prices start at £1,950 for single user CAT PM. CAT is network ready systems. You can try CAT PM Evaluation before you buy. Any data entered into CAT PM Evaluation can be carried forward into the full system.
